About me
My real name is Jacob, but Eldorion is the pseudonym I go by in the online Tolkien community. Most people shorten it to Eldo. I first used this name on LotRPlaza.com – a Lord of the Rings discussion forum and all around cool site. I live in Baltimore, Maryland and I am majoring in Political Science at university. As you may have guessed by now I’m a fan of The Lord of the Rings. Actually, I’m probably more what you would call “dangerously obsessive”. Check out my personal page!
Which Eldorion am I?
I don’t know exactly how many people going by the name Eldorion there are on the Internet, but I know of several that aren’t me. The following is a partial list of sites where I have used this username. They make up the overwhelming majority of my Tolkien-related Internet activity.

About this site
While WordPress is of course primarily a blogging service, I use it mainly to create a more traditional website with static pages. These pages have simpler URLs and do not slip out of sight as more are uploaded. I originally made this site as a permanent home for my essays about Purism, but it has grown considerably since then, and will probably continue to do so. The structure is extremely simple: each of the main sections (linked to at the top of each page) has a number of sub-sections listed on it, and some of those have sub-sub-sections listed on them, etc.
That said, there is still a blog as part of this site. I also post updates and other information to my Twitter page.
