As I was making my first forays into the Internet as a pre-adolescent, I began by looking for sites related to topics that interested me: at the time sci-fi, fantasy, and American football. One of the first sites I found was The Lord of the Rings Fanatics Plaza, a discussion and role-playing site based on Tolkien’s works. While it took me close to two years to become active, it’s been a major part of my life and was the primary impetus behind creating this site.
